Welcome to Shawnigan Lake Beach Resort! We operate two furnished units in this exclusive private resort, available for summer weekly rentals and off-season monthly rentals. An amazing place for your summer or tranquil winter getaway. There is something for everyone to enjoy at the 6+ acre resort and surrounding area.

Two unique units are available to rent, depending on your needs, budget and preferences.
The first condo unit is a 734 square foot unit on the 2nd floor in the 'upper building'. The unit has one large bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is also a murphy bed in the living room. This spacious unit would sleep 4 easily. The unit has a walk in closet and is equipped with laundry and a dishwasher. This unit has one of the best views of the lake in the complex and has an expansive deck to enjoy the wonderful view from. The unit was extensively renovated to a high standard in 2024 and has an air conditioning unit in place.
The second townhouse unit is the largest unit in the complex at 1,335 square feet over three floors plus multiple decks. The unit is in the 'lower building'. This 2 bedroom plus den space has 2.5 bathrooms. There is one queen sized bed, a full bed (in the den) and two twin beds. The kitchen, living room and large deck are on the third floor, enjoying unparalleled lake views. There is also a full bar with fridge and sink on the ground floor, exiting right to the beach area. This premium unit was extensively renovated to a high standard in 2020 and 2021 and is rarely available from May through August.
Each of these units comes with two assigned parking spaces, access to the boat launch, limited availability boat moorage and access to various watersports equipment including a 2 person kayak and an inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard (great for beginners) for summertime fun!

Sleeps 4+ $2,500 per week plus $125 cleaning fee or $400 a night plus cleaning fee (min 3 nights)
Two bedroom plus den, 2.5 bathroom, fully renovated
1,335 square feet with patio and 3 decks over three floors
Sleeps up to 6 $4,000 per week plus $250 cleaning fee
20% discount for May, June and September shoulder seasons if available

Please note 8% PST applies for short term rentals less than 27 days as well as a 2% MRDT Regional tax. GST will not apply unless booked through Airbnb. Deposits are non refundable unless otherwise noted.

One bedroom, one bathroom unit: $2,200 per month plus hydro and internet/cable
Two bedroom plus den, 2.5 bathroom unit: $3,000 per month plus hydro and internet/cable (or $3,250 including everything)
The resort offers something for everyone to enjoy. This family friendly resort located just a 45 minute drive North of Victoria offers many amenities including a family-friendly indoor pool and sauna (summer only, perfect for cooler days), 6+ acres of beautiful well-maintained grounds, available boat moorage, a dock for fishing, expansive lawns with a volleyball net, frisbee golf / practice golf course and a recently rebuilt kids playground area, as well as a recently refinished sports court. And of course the private sandy beach complete with a protected swimming area, water trampoline (new in 2022) and swim platform with slide.
The surrounding area offers many activities to enjoy. While it can be hard to leave the lake, we always enjoy visiting or biking at the spectacular Kinsol Trestle (free, pictured here), family hikes at Mount Baldy and Tzouhalem, visiting the Malahat Skywalk and exploring the Cobble Hill, Duncan and Cowichan Bay communities.
There are two major grocery stores within a 10 minute drive of the complex for any supplies needed
Shawnigan Lake Beach Resort is a strata corporation and occupants are required to comply with the bylaws and rules, which will be left in a binder in each unit. Before booking, please make note of the following requirements:
